YES IT'S ME! MIGHTY MABEL'S BACK TO START THE NEW YEAR OFF!!
yay! yup kids, it's true, i want to be the first to blog here in 05... only cos i'm a blog hog. =)
anyhoo, just thought i'd like to wish you ALL a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! hope you guys all had a great time celebrating the end of the year, and you're all enjoying your holidays!
me? i spent the last 15min of 04 taking a shower, and then running out just in time for the countdown. poor dad is sick... he's sleeping. so he missed the countdown (which is the ONLY reason why you would get up from your sleep when you're sick) and i enjoyed the start of the new year. by myself. at home. infront of the tele. watching the fireworks. BY MYSELF.
(let's explain things: my sis, julie, is out being normal and enjoying herself which is groovay all the way, and mummy is overseas in vietnam, with my relatives and of course my grandma, which is EXCELLENT! cos that means mum'll spend the start of the new year with grandma =D )
well, the thing is, i'm not really sad that i'm not OUT partying or anything.. or that i didn't see the fireworks live... cos i usually don't bother to battle through the crowds to see 15min of flying lights and explosions... (i usually watch it on tele anyway) (the works gets boring anyway. like the first and last minutes are great. the rest is all the same.) but it's just that I SPENT THE TIME BY MYSELF! (if you haven't noticed, i think i've got a phobia of lonliness. and don't ask me why i don't enjoy the new year crowds. it's just another one of life's many mysteries.) but i'm not blaming dad either... cos i feel heaps sad that he's sick =( but i just think... it's the perfect time for me to break out into : Aaalll byyy myyyseeeeelf... Don't want to beee... Alll byyy myyyseeeelf. Anymore.
GARGH!! WHAT IS WITH LATE NIGHT TV?! "adultmatchmaker.com! don't just sit there!" THAT'S GREAT. and did you know there's a show called BLOKESWORLD? that show is incredible. i never knew such things even EXISTED. it's like... a show. for BLOKES. basically about beer, bikes and naked women. no. i swear i didn't watch it. just before i was gonna watch a vid i've had since i was tiiiny (it's STILL great! i can watch it over and over and over...you get the point.) i just flicked through the channels and BAM "BLOKESWORLD!" i'm like "ha! this is gonna be funny!" and the next thing i know there are women who i think were too poor to afford enough material to cover their bodies... or they were just trying to be 'sexy'. and i'm like ARGH CHANGE IT CHANGE IT *tackles remote*. and that's my life story. in conclusion, i think blokes should burn. along with poor women. along with late night tv.
speaking of tv, did you know: THAT CHEEZ TV ENDED?!?!?!? like SERIOUSLY?! IT'S BEEN GOING ON SINCE 1995!!! THAT'S EXACTLY 10 YEARS DAMNIT!! HOW CAN THEY DO THAT?!? i was heartbroken. i swear, it was fate. i happened to get up early TODAY and i caught the last 15min EVER of CHEEZ TV. it makes me sad. really. man, this blog is pretty long. i'll carry on.
i got a bag today! it's khaki and it's a REALLY good size! it's a side bag... smallish... you'll see it whenever. only if you're lucky. dad and i got it from general pants MASSIVE SALE! $40 down to $25! yay! dad wanted me to get a bag so that i could use it overseas (oh look what's on tele NOW: 'aussiematchmaker.com.au! log on NOW!' *growl* i really should turn off the tele.      done and done.) cos it turns out that dad doesn't think my turqouise snoopy bag is trendy at ALL... he thinks it's CHEAP infact. that cut me. it cut me deep. thing is, i don't think it's trendy or anything: i only use it cos i like the turqouise and cos of the size: IT'S GREAT! it fits anything in it... it's like DORAEMON'S SUPER DUPER 4D POUCH! yaay!! doraemon!! anyhow, back to my ohsointerestinglifestory. yeah, i was hurt by his comments. so aaaall this time he thought i had a hideous bag. he doesn't like the 'snoopy', stitching and the 'shiny' material... *shakes fist* he REALLY doesn't like the shiny material, so today, he was like we shall find a bag which is not shiny... and twas funny, cos EVERYWHERE we looked (in chinaville) were shiny bags... and then dad was like 'ok. maybe I'M (dad) not the trendy one... why are ALL the bags shiny?!' so i gave him the smirking of a lifetime. ok now i think i've reached the point where i can be assured that NOBODY is reading this so why am i typing?  i don't really know but i'll carry on - so after spending like all together 2hours(cutting out the random going up to dad's office and playing game time) in marketcity and chinaville in general, i FOUND MY BAG!!
and speaking of marketcity, for those who care, ask me about thewatchman. actually, rephrase: for those who care, remind me to rabble on about thewatchman.
and speaking of whatmabeldidtoday, you don't know the meaning of frustration until you play princeof persia: warrior within. it's HORRIBLE!! cos i keep on dying... but it's soo addictive... i spent 90% of the nonlookingforbagtimeoftheday playing it... it's really frustrating... like, u can only save at certain times when they decide 'yay i think it's time to chuck in a revivalwaterfountainsothattheprinceofpersiacansavehisgame' whenever they feel like it WELL GUESS WHAT YOU STUPID GAMEDESIGNERS there ARE crap ppl like ME who require MORE than a waterandpointwhereyoucansavethegamefountain every 200 monsters and 103 obstacles the prince of persia kills and/or passes. and now i think i've reached the point where i make no sense to anybody but myself.
speaking of movies, i watched a CANTO movie in a CINEMA today! for the first time! (only this sentence is yellow cos it's too bright and it burns and it's not helping that i'm typing more and more yellow.) it was HEAPS exciting cos i've never been to a movie with just asians in it =) it was AMAZING! TAKE THAT YOU WESTERNS. TRY TAKING OVER THE WORLD, WILL YOU? i watched it at reading cinemas upstairs in marketcity with dad and gorgor (my dad's best mate) and i bought the tickets HEAPS early right, and they were for 7:15, so at like 6:15, we sat down in a restaurant and sped-ate our dinner, so that we would be early for the movie right, and yup, we sure were: we reached the cinema by 7. so we were like 'omg we're great' then it turns out that the cinema hates us so they postponed the session to 8 instead. so we had nothing to do for an HOUR. AND we sped-ate for nothing. so we ended up bumming in gorgor's cd shop for 45min. twas fun. the movie was ok. it's called 'kung fu hustle'. it's by stephen chow... and i'm sure you ALL know who he is. *nods* . anyhow, yeah, it's a comedy about kung fu *thankyou captain obvious* and it WAS funny at the beginning but after 15min i think it got exaggerated... like WAY exaggerated. like PAST matrix and crouching tiger hidden panda exaggeration. and THAT is exaggeration. and btw, it WAS good that we got to the cinema early cos it turned out that we had to queue (OMG. DID I SPELL THAT RIGHT?) our way into the cinema: there were THAT many people. and the seats were filled up *snap* just like that. and that news was for ANYONE who is still insane enough to be reading, or someone who cares for my life more than they care about that man who is peering in through your window.
i think that'll do kids. i'm pretty proud of this blog. i hope nobody calls at this moment. cos if they do, my computer will freeze. along with my blog. and that shall make me angry. and never blog again. yes. it frustrates me THAT much. even more than when i'm playing prince of asia: warrior withpins.

Just a small update. Mabel definitely caught me with her suspenseful update. Can't wait for her to tell us. Oh and did I tell you that Mabel rocks!! She gave me, Joey and Hum keyrings that said we were BUSBUDDIES!! YEA! I always smile whenever I see those keyrings.
